About Comunidad Colombiana de Ottawa y Gatineau
The Colombian Community of Ottawa and Gatineau (CCOG) is the association that brings together Colombians living in Canada's capital region, promoting, preserving and celebrating the cultural and social life of Colombia. In 2026 it celebrates 35 years of community life.
Its flagship event is the Colombia Independence Day celebration, which gathers the community at the Maison du Citoyen in Gatineau with music, food, children's games, raffles and free family activities, together with the Carnaval de Barranquilla en Canadá.
Throughout the year it also organizes solidarity concerts, artisan fairs and its grand Christmas party in Ottawa, and calls on volunteers, artisans and vendors from the community through its official profile and its contact email.
