About Globex Operations
Globex Operations Limited is a shipping and money services centre in North York, Toronto, located on Jane Street, one of the city's areas with the largest Latin presence. Its own website presents it as a «cash instant» point with services within the community's reach.
It hosts the Toronto location of Extra Equipaje, the cargo company from Canada: its premises receive documents, packages and parcels for air and door-to-door shipping to Latin America, with Colombia among the featured destinations and its own air rate per pound. The same counter offers international money transfers.
As an independent agency with its own name, premises and channels, Globex brings together in one place the two services the diaspora uses most: sending money and sending boxes to family, with service in Spanish in the Jane and Wilson corridor.
