About Pachangueros
Pachangueros is a community of dancers based in Sainte-Foy, in Québec City, dedicated to salsa caleña, the salsa style born in Cali, Colombia. It welcomes everyone curious about social dancing, with no partner or previous experience required.
Its salsa caleña courses are designed to take students from zero to the dance floor with confidence: what is learned in class is then danced at its parties. Its shop also offers handmade dance shoes designed in Cali, and clothing created by and for dancers.
Its signature night, La Salsoteca, brings the fire of salsa brava back to Québec alongside merengue and bachata, and the community takes part in the solidarity days of Québec's Colombian community, such as the Unidos por el Chocó event of October 2026.
